Next Musroom Inoculation Workshop

Our only workshop scheduled this month will be happening on Saturday, March 20, 10 a.m. - Noon.  All registration and workshop details remain the same and can be found by scrolling down this page. 

We have had wonderful participants thus far and all of us have had a very good time.  Watch for pics to be posted as soon as I get a chance.

Due to the snowfalls that have occurred each weekend, we are still attempting to hold our first workshops in 2010!  Paid participants get first shot of course, but please check with us about availability.

Two Mushroom Log Inoculation Workshops will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010.  The first one will start at 10 a.m. and run until noon; the second is 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.  Advance registration & payment is required.  There is also a box lunch option for both classes.  Rain/Snow date will be same times on the following Saturday.  Ask about our special group and family rates!

COST: $40 per person, which includes instruction, hands-on experience, and a full-size inoculated log to carry home. You may also purchase additional logs starting at $30 each.  All inoculation materials are provided by SandyCreek Farm.

SUGGESTIONS: Bring thick work gloves and wear work clothes including hats and jackets as we will be outdoors. A thermos of hot coffee, tea, or soup may be a good idea too.

DIRECTIONS:  From Childress Vineyards (@ intersection of US 64 & US 52): Take 64 W toward Mocksville to NC 150 (2.7 mi); turn slight right onto ramp (0.2 mi); turn right onto NC 150 W (3.1 mi); end @ SandyCreek Farm on right. Look for #3160 on top of our sign and on the fence.
